Fresh pies and Caesar salads on the pass at Fratesi's Pizza

Our story

The pop-up that stuck.

From a weekly Miami pop-up to our own dining room on Flagler Street.

Fresh pies and Caesar salads on the pass at Fratesi's Pizza

Our story

From a Sunday pop-up to Flagler Street.

Fratesi's started as a pop-up. Every week we sold thin, crispy bar pies until they were gone, and a lot of you kept coming back. Thank you to anyone who ever bought a pizza.

Chris Fratesi and Brian Griffiths signed a lease on a space in Downtown Miami, and in July 2025 we opened our own dining room at 69 East Flagler Street.

The pizza is New Jersey tavern-style: a crust so thin it's almost not there, toppings melted into the cheese, and cheese right to the edge. We keep a short list of pies, each with its own personality, and add specials when we get excited about something.

The room is part of it too: booths, stained-glass lamps, red walls and art everywhere. There are 46 seats inside and 12 outside, and we always hold some for walk-ins.

Thank you to anyone that ever bought a pizza.

Why Fratesi's

Thin, crisp and a little unhinged.

  1. Paper-thin bar pies

New Jersey tavern-style pizza with barely-there, crackly crusts and cheese spread all the way to the edge.

  2. Walk-ins always welcome

Reserve on Resy, or just come by. We keep part of the room for walk-ins every night, and online pickup opens at 6 PM.

  3. Good stuff on top

Lioni Latticini fresh mozzarella, grana padano, Partanna Sicilian olive oil and hot peppers we pickle ourselves.

Tonight, maybe?

Thin crust. Big booths. Come in.

Reservations are on Resy, and walk-ins are always welcome. Doors open at 5 PM, Wednesday to Saturday, and 3 PM on Sunday.
